Rob Piper
Owner
Rob has been working in the construction industry and using AutoCAD for over 20 years. He setup RDPPlanningServices in 2021 to provide support for people who needed additional CAD outlets, and has since been involved in many residential and commercial projects for various clients.

I came across Rob through mutual contact, as we were in need of an architectural technician who could promptly put together some necessary plans at low cost to the client. Rob was the perfect fit – he was straight on it, organising a site visit, and swiftly understood the project. The plans were sent over (with no changes needed) in the space of a week! Rob joined us on the recommendation of a mutual contact. We were in need of some additional help in the CAD team due to maternity leave. We couldn’t have been happier. Rob fitted straight into the team and found his feet quickly with minimal fuss. After learning the ropes he was quickly into projects and helping to reduce the back log.
Along with working through the projects Rob also helped out with reorganising our internal procedures. He aided in putting templates, tool palettes and layer states into our system, whilst logging it all down in a new office procedures manual.
Rob also worked alongside our QGIS team to help integrate the output into our CAD systems in an efficient manner. Rob also helped train our new Junior Technician to take over his role.
We will be keeping Rob in our contact list for when we need holiday cover or any additional updates to our procedures. On the whole we would fully recommend Rob to anybody who needs a ‘consultant’ on short or long term projects.
